The Dog That Started It All...
Springtime Supplements began with one man’s heroic effort to save his dog, an Akita named Buddha, who belonged to our founder, Dennis Hampt. When he was a puppy, Buddha suffered a broken leg, which deteriorated as he matured. By the age of seven, Buddha had reached the point where two different vets recommended that he be put down.
Dennis loved Buddha dearly, and he was not willing to give up without a fight.
So Dennis dedicated himself to exhaustive research and experimentation with natural foods. It didn’t take long before he began to see results. Not only did Buddha recover, but he regained the power and strength that he had in his prime. Buddha would go on to live another five active years.
That discovery became the foundation of Springtime Supplements and our most popular product: Fresh Factors. For many years, Fresh Factors has improved the health of countless dogs with a chewable supplement they love to eat. The success of Fresh Factors was followed by several other natural chewables to support specific needs, as well as a comprehensive all-purpose powder formula called Longevity. We also introduced a family of natural treats!
Since 1979, the Springtime mission has remained the same: to help animals live happier, healthier lives. As Dennis likes to say, “People who love animals gotta stick together.”
Over the years we have added other ingredients to the formula I had given Buddha and it has evolved into our ultimate, all-around chewable supplement for dogs – Fresh Factors.
