Dear Springtime,

My 4 year old off the track Thoroughbred's registered name is 'Great Rezults' but I call him 'Sir G' or just plain 'G'. He was a throw away as he only raced 8 times in his young life and came in 1st just once. But his last two races this year in March and April, he came in 2nd! His ancestors are Man O' War, Native Dancer, and Unbridled is his Great Grandfather…his cousin is American Pharaoh! His knees are a little inflamed and can't handle the races anymore so his owner let him go. So for only $600, I have a beautiful 4 year old Thoroughbred with lots of life left in him and he's enjoying the 'retired' life!

I have been using your Hoof & Coat Formula on Sir G for a little over a week now. He was suffering from rain rot. I had used a product which killed the rain rot, but his hair hadn't grown back in. However, this past week after I started on Hoof & Coat Formula, I noticed his hair has completely filled back in!!! WOW, that was FAST!

And I'm pretty sure his 'delicate' hooves have strengthened as well. He has kept both of his shoes securely on the past 2 and 1/2 weeks (twice he's lost one prematurely). Today I noticed his hooves look really healthy, shiny, and strong and his hind hooves haven't started chipping away like they normally do after a couple of weeks. I can't wait until my farrier comes on October 12th to see how much Sir G's feet have improved!

I moved him from a much too wet environment that was causing him to be very tender footed and making him basically lame. He also obtained an abscess from that place as well. After moving Sir G to his now high and dry beautiful home, it took a month for him to recover. But I just have to say that this past week after starting him on the Hoof & Coat Formula, he recovered at a rapid pace from both the rain rot AND his soft, water damaged hooves.

Dear Springtime,

I wanted to write and tell you how pleased I am with your product Bug Off Garlic. We have a herd of 10 Tibetan Yaks, 2 horses and 5 English Golden Retrievers (all champions) that we show and breed. I also run a small time dog boarding business on our property. Fifteen years ago, I learned the health benefits and insect repellent abilities of garlic for my dogs and horses from my holistic vet and I have fed it to them ever since. Never once have I needed to use oral or topical flea treatments on my dogs, garlic seems to be enough. We have had our yak herd for 15 years as well and I always wondered if they could or would eat garlic too?

Yaks HATE flies! These pesky insects seem to go after their legs and any areas where the skin is more exposed like the armpits and around the eyes and nose. To get away from the flies the yaks will run as fast as they can, then lay down in tall grass so their skirt hair covers their legs. For the 13 years, all we could do is spray the yaks with fly spray and pray rain wouldn't wash it off.

In 2012 we lost our prized herd bull Sherpa to EHD, a disease that is carried and spread by the midge fly. We knew we had to do more to stop the flies from 'feeding' on our yaks, so we ordered Bug Off Garlic, hoping we could get them to eat it. I made several calls to large animal veterinarian colleges and talked with vets who specialize in bovine. I wanted to make sure it was safe to feed garlic to our yaks. Each vet said the same thing, "Garlic won't hurt them. In fact, it would probably be beneficial if you can get them to eat it."

The yaks loved the garlic from the get-go, they would eat up every last bit of it and come back later in the day to lick the bunk feeders again!

Even before we ramped up to a full ('good") dose, the yaks were pretty much fly free! Occasionally we had to spray the yaks to get rid of giant horse flies, but all and all they survived (and thrived) on the Bug Off Garlic alone. It was so amazing to see them so comfortable; they never had to run to get away from flies. It certainly was the best (bug free) summer our yaks had ever had in 14 years!

C-Complex: Healthy Ligaments

Dear Springtime,

I started using your products when a friend suggested it for my (at the time) 9 year old Lab mix named Joy. Joy was having a lot of trouble getting up and down and she had a limp in her front leg from a pinched nerve in her neck. Three days after putting her on your Joint Health Chewables she was running around like a spring chicken and has been ever since. She is 11 now.

After Joy's wonderful success, I put my Bullmastiff, Hanna, on C-Complex after her knee surgery and had great results. Shortly after, my other Lab mix, Otis, also tore his knee, but instead of traumatizing him with a very costly knee surgery (he's terrified of the vet) I restricted his movements and put him on C-Complex. I'm ecstatic to say he was completely healed and running around like nothing happened in a short three months. And my pocket is $3000 fuller! I have all my dogs on Spirulina Wafers and Joint Health Chewables long-term as well.

I also compete with my Sachsen Warmblood, Erwin, in combined driving around New England and Canada in hopes that we will someday be able to go to the Para-Equestrian Worlds. This August Erwin suffered a moderate 13% ligament tear. So I of course ordered a bucket of your C-Complex and increased the Spirulina Wafers he was already on in addition to Bee Pollen, Gamma, and Joint Health Formula.

After six weeks on restricted movement his tear was down to the expected 8% and he was cleared for lots of walking. However, when he had his next check-up (two weeks earlier than he should have) we had a surprise. Instead of his tear healing down to the expected 4%, it was gone. My vet was so surprised, he said if he hadn't documented it he would never have know it was there.

Now I don't know exactly what healed him, but since I have seen the same results with the C-Complex on two of my dogs with knee tears, I have my suspicions. I will say that I will continue to use your products for the duration of my animals' lives. Thank you so much, Springtime!
